England-Scotland game successful
The England-Scotland game hosted by Brits at Nansen Field every year in May came off without a hitch this year as well. 

Fram's shrimp party doubles in attendance
The annual shrimp party hosted by Sportsklubben Fram on 22 April was a great success, nearly doubling in attendance from last year. In addition to being great fun, the party is a good source of income for the club, needed to support other activities sponsored by the club at Nansen Field.

21 May: Norwegian Independence Day
Everyone is welcome to come celebrate the Norwegian Independence Day (17 Mai) with us at Nansenfield on Sunday, 21 May. We'll have a procession, big band music, stalls with Norwegian goods and foods, and entertainment and games for the kids. Bring a chair or a blanket to sit on, and a flag if you have it!

24 June: Mid-Summer Fest
Come join us for our annual Mid-Summer Party celebration at Nansenfield on Saturday, 24 June. There will be food, dancing and drinks all night, as well as a raffle and door prizes, so don't miss this!

October: Octoberfest/Leif Erikson Day
Annual celebration in October. This year paying homage to the acheivements of the old Norse sailor and explorer Leif Erikson.

December: Christmas Party
Annual celebration with traditional foods and walking/singing/dancing around the Christmas tree.
